Interested in submitting your work? Here is what you need to know:

• All works must be submitted as a PDF file.

• Only one piece of work may be submitted at a time. We ask that works don’t exceed 5 pages.

• No work written by or with AI will be accepted, unless the writer states a specific creative purpose for its use.

• All submissions are to be sent via email to poeticespresso@gmail.com. The subject of the submission email must include: first and last name, then Submission. Example: Jane Doe Submission.

• Include a 1-2 paragraph autobiography in the submission email.

• Simultaneous submissions are allowed as long as the writer informs us immediately upon being accepted elsewhere.

• Unpublished works are preferred, but if submitting a previously published work, we ask that you include the previous place(s) and date(s) of publication in the submission email.

• Accepted submissions will be featured on the site’s blog page.

• Writers should expect to hear back from us anywhere from 2-4 weeks, depending on the level of submission traffic.
